Claire’s background is in business having run her own business for 17 years before deciding to follow her passion of teaching and coaching. Claire has coached netball alongside her career and has played an active part at her children’s school as chair of the PTA and as a governor. She started university as a mature student to study Sports Coaching and Physical Education where she has recently graduated with a first class honours degree. During her final year, Claire led the outreach activity for the School of Sport and Exercise Science and mentored the Student Recruitment Ambassadors, a role she enjoyed. Helping students has become her passion, her Independent Study focused on supporting students in their transition into Higher Education, an area she feels can shape a student’s experience. Recently, Claire has pulled her passion for netball and supporting students together by leading the Netball Programme at the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½.

- Level 3 Paediatric First Aid
