Charlotte is a Senior Lecturer in Physical Education and the Sports Scholarship Coordinator at the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ of Worcester. Before joining the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½, she was previously a teacher of Physical Education in a secondary school.
Charlotte is now embarking upon a career in Higher Education having completed her MSc in Sports Coaching Science and Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education.
A keen sports player Charlotte has played a range of sports including rugby, football and hockey, achieving international status in rugby.

Teaching
Current teaching areas include Physical Education and Outdoor Education with a continued focus on learning and teaching. Charlotte's teaching experience is vast and varied with specific interests also outside of Physical Education, including outdoor education and sports coaching.

Research
Charlotte's research interests include fundamental movement skills (FMS) in teaching. Focusing on the implications for athlete development as a result of poor teacher knowledge of FMS.
Further research conducted includes
- Students' perceptions of employability skills and using visual aids in an informal environment to enhance student feedback.
- Investigating the use of emotional freedom technique for duel career athletes. A case study.
- Developing students' employability skills through their active engagement with a self-audit tool and the online resource 'usemyability'. A Students as Academic Partners (SAP) project.
Research Interests include:
Supporting dual career student athletes through Higher Education.

I3PE Network Coordinator - International Coordinator for I3PE Network. Recent international opportunities include overseeing the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ of Worcester delegation of students on an Intensive Programme in Romania. This was a European Union initiative which recognises the value that Higher Education students present when sharing ideas from an international perspective concerning Physical Education and sustainable societies.
